I agree nothing like a good Speyside single malt. 30 yo Glenfiddich is my preference, Sparingly of course.

Single Malt Tutorial
Step one: Get a large brandy snifter
Step two: Get a bottle of 25 year old McCallan single malt
Step three: Get a short, squat doubles glass.
Step four: Put LUKEWARM water about 3/4 of the way to the top of the
doubles glass
Step five: Put a couple of ounces of McCallan in the snifter then gently put
the snifter on its side in the doubles glass, just touching the warm
water
Step six: Give it 30 seconds then put your nose close to the snifter
Step seven: After thorougly enjoying the nose, take your first sip
Step eight: Have someone close to you assure you that you have NOT
died and gone to Heaven
