Heat Treat 60 Rockwell
Blade it hand sanded to 500 grit and finished with green Scotch Brite for a nice easy to maintain finish for the user.
Handle underwrap is tight bound cotton cord wrap in a style Phill Harstfield used. Silver Dragon Menuki Charm both sides. The over wrap is red ito cord topped off with a Turks head knot. The handle is impregnated with special system 3 epoxy making it 100% water proof, that will not chip or peel and gives a great non slip proof grip.
The Kydex sheath was developed for this blade. The Turk shead knot can be adjusted if needed to increase or decrease retention. It is a 2 part sheath with a clip for easy carry on pants or belt.
