I have used that type of drill for drilling gunstocks for swivel bases. They work great, and as mentioned, no splintering. The other piece, I have not used, but it sounds good.

I use the drill bit listed above for corby rivets. Works good. A little expensive in my opinion though. If you have a lathe you could probably make your own very easily.

Thanks guys . The drill looks a little funny, but if it works so good i have to try it, even if its a little expensive
I wonder why its not the same diameter all the way, on the barrels.

If you are looking for drill bits for Corby bolts try www.knifekits.com. They have several sizes - I just ordered KKSD3 drill (.250 x .187 ) $15.95 for 1/4" Corby bolts. It looks stronger than the ones from Jantz

For my corby bolts I use these counterbore tools from Pop's. I have the one you posted from Jantz but like the one from Pop's much better.

I use these for Loveless style nut & bolt handle pins.
The center is the Bolt size & the Barrel is the nut size to counter sink into your knife handles.

I buy this one from Jantz and it works great.
