Knife number two of my daughter's kitchen knife set is now finished. I apologize for the crumby cell phone pic. I'll dig out the light box and snap some better photos once the whole set is complete. The nearly 7 inch blade is hollow ground 440C. The scales are stabilized box elder burl with black fiber liners. It matches up really well with the paring knife I finished a couple weeks ago. The knife balances really well, both visually and in the hand. Should make for a great meat carver. I'm quite pleased with how it turned out. Now it's on to the utility knife.
