I actually wondered if anyone was alive here ;)
This sheath was just a bit of fun really , and an excuse to try a few ideas I've had floating around .
I'm always learning , and I've learnt a couple of good things from this experiment that I'll use in the future .

Burnishing is usually mentioned when talking about polishing - finishing the sheaths edges and welt .
For example this sheath has a Burnished Welt-Edge.

The torch sheath is an idea I had , and has actually worked out quite well . The one in the photo was a prototype and wasn't quite finished at that stage I still hadn't put the snap on the flap . The spiral cylinder and the flap are all one piece of leather and that...

I have been trying my hand at leather sheath making since about November last year and I'm really enjoying it .
