KHKnives

Hi everyone, my name is Kenny Harris and I've been making knives for three years now. I make a lot of karambit knives and self defense tools mainly and try to throw in some artistic flare when I can. Since I'm still new to knife making I've been using 1095 steel for my blades because its fairly easy to grind and heat treat as well as getting razor sharp with great edge retention. I love the work of warren thomas and richard derespina as well as many others and try to learn as much as I can from every knife I see. I really wish I had started making knives at a younger age because I'm truly addicted to it and love every minute. I haven't had a customer yet that didn't truly love their knife (knock wood) and I'm most proud of my skull filework. Most knifemakers I've met have been really nice (the exceptions are real jerks) and I love the knifemaking community because of it. It would be a dream come true to make knives full time, but for now I've just been selling my knives on ebay because I'm unsure if they're top quality even though sites like arizona custom have given me the go ahead, I am my own worst critic. Would love to make some contacts and get some constructive criticism.
