The blade has a distal taper. From 1/4" at the handle to 3/16" at the point. This blade falls within 56-58rc, a nice spot for a chopper

That's the one Ray. It's a full tang handle with a paracord wrap.
Bill the OAL is 17 3/4" and the blade is 11 3/4". I made it from a big leftover chunk of 5160.

Well i finally got(made) a grinder that's worth a crap. I had originally started making a three wheel KMG clone-y thing but the tracking just sucked. So i scraped that and finally after allota probing from James we came up with this.
