There is a pic of the info plate on the motor. I at first thought it was 1/2 hp but it says 1 1/2 hp. I was hoping it could be converted to 2x72. Tried doing a google search but didnt find anything

I do expect there to be a bit of learning going from hollow grinds to flat grinds but hopefully wont be too bad.....

Yeah it looks like a decent one. Only 2x48 and doesn't pivot so one can grind on the contact wheel but it is a step up from even the cone lock
