    Art Nouveau Dagger

No offense taken Eric. Feedback is why I post these. That and I am vain. ;) I knew making it that was a tad outside the box. Thanks for the good words.

    Art Nouveau Dagger

Finally finished it. All in all I think it came out ok. Not 100% what I envisioned when I first started but with each knife I seem to get better at actually making what I first envision. That's a good sign I guess. Specs: Blade length: 6 1/8” OAL: 11 5/8” Grind: Hollow Steel: 5160...

Bruce, I am curious, any special reason to cut the knobs on the bandsaw and not part them with the lathe? Thanks again for sharing your work with us.

    The Strauss Pirate 36 caliber

Bruce, I am curious. Why not do the enlargement and reducing on your all-in-one printer scanner? It would bug me to have to go to Staples each time.

A simpler one this time...Small Bowie!

Well it was suppose to be simpler anyway. :( Ended up taking quite a bit of time. It is a take down again. (pics of it dismantled coming in the next few days) Since I am trying to follow advices received and be more confident I'll only point out the problems with the knife that are apparent...

    Considered cheating?

Yep, just in ingenious way to help "bring out" a hamon. Nothing wrong with that. Creating a false one that way would be wrong but this is the same as polishing different parts of the hamon in different ways as is often done. Now to be sure we'd need pics of course. ;)

KMG alignment FIX a short WIP

I really appreciate you taking the time to do this Josh and to share with us. I also have a small wobble on my KMG but was afraid to try and fix it and actually make it worst. This will help me "man up" and try to get it tracking just right.

    Static Electricity Problems

Steve, it happens to me from time to time at the buffer. A quick solution I've found is simply to make sure your leg is in contact with anything made of steel and large enough. Got a tool chest right beside that does the job. In the same line of thought if you go with the bracelet, it can be on...
