I would either order it precision ground in the size you want or have it surface ground. I'm working on my first frame lock also and I'm glad I have a surface grinder, so far I've used on the blade, back spacer, bolsters and to get the pivot and stop pin to the correct length. I'm sure it can be...

    Kmg horizontal conversion kit

How much would an 8" platen tool rest only be, $60? I already have my GIB setup for horizontal, but your tool rest looks like it would be good addition to my setup. You should offer a tool rest for the small wheel holder also. A lot of the folder makes would like that, I believe.

    Countersinking Ti ???

I'm working on my first linerlock and this morning was trying to countersink the .055" Ti liners using a Toolmex #0 HSS 82° Zero Flute countersink. I tried running it at 1180 rpm with cutting oil and almost completely countersunk one hole before burning up the bit. It was a double ended...

    Thoughts on building folders

Ed - When using bearings, what is the minimum thickness of the liner material that you would recommend when milling a .050 deep pocket for the bearing?

    Another slipjoint question.

I had bought mine at Knife and Gun Supply. I just checked their new website and couldn't find the bushings. I sent their customer service an email to see, if they still carry them. They were the only place I could find that carried them when I bought mine. I'll post their answer when I receive...

Very nice work, Craig, I like it. I'm sure the customer was thrilled when they received it. Is the fluting on the bolsters all done by hand with a file or do you mill them in ? Jim
