I wouldn't normally nominate myself either, But I am rather proud of my Bowie (my 6th knife), not that its anywhere near some of the masterpieces shown on the forum but I was very proud when it won our club competition last December, so I am submitting it.

Nice work RedHorse I like the advise about hanging the blade next to the grinder so you have something reminding you to be patient. It's very easy to wreck a knife quickly by being a bit impatient. Keep it up!

Hi Guys I finished off the sheath today - dying it, boning and sealing the edges. No antiqueing or any ageing done at all yet. I would have preferred a slightly lighter shade of brown, but I only had two dyes available - Oak (sort of red brown) and Mid brown - I wasnt able to lighten the mix.
