if i want to repeat the exact same pattern, what type of material would work? probly have to fashion a way to clamp the blade between a pair of stencils to limit movement.......

not a detail. going for hot rod style flames... nothing very detailed....

to create a PATTERNED two tone effect..... what should i use as a stencil? can i just tape off the blade and blast away? i have never BB'd anything, but i think i have a cool idea (not new, but new to me)....

i went over to Grat Lakes Water Jet and he helped me. there are guys who make folders with just a dremel....... special equipment makes it alot easier, but it can be done without......... all i have is a grinder, drill presses, and a bandsaw........

just scored a 2 HP motor at a moving sale for $70. little rusty, but otherwise is pretty good shape! and i'm working on a deal on a Baldor motor, 1.5hp 3 phase......... for way LESS than $70...... :D now. that would be two EXTRA motors. and only one functional grinder.... so... i...

i have been reading up on Wayne Goddards 1/3hp disc grinder.... i think that may be the ticket........

so... i have an old 1/3hp motor, AND an old 1/6hp motor laying around... what should i build? right now, the only "power tools" i have are a 2x72 grizzley, a 1x20 grinder, and 2 drill presses.. the 1/3hp i found at a garage sale last year, guy had it set up to sharpen knives.... LOL...
