Thanks! It’s amazing the difference the circulating water makes in heat build up. The platen will go from running so hot you can’t touch it to running cool to the touch. If anyone’s interested in purchasing one I do have some in stock it’s just not something I’ve had time to pursue lately.

Oh yeah I can see that. The long table could definitely be turned sideways and used that way. You’re right though with the end not being chamfered you would not be able to position it right up close to the platen when at an angle.

No the large platens are not beveled as they are typically intended for jig grinding. Are you talking the short end? I could put a 45 degree chamfer on the bottom of one of the short ends pretty easy. I’d say an extra $5 to modify it like that.
