run it on your belt grinder slow with a 220 grit new belt, fast enough so as not to burn the leather. Wet the edge with a sponge and rub it with a little candle wax or bees wax then rub it real hard with a canvas rag or a hard stick like maple or cocobolo. I use cocobolo

If you will rub some parrafin or candle wax on the dampened edge of the leather prior to this it will really help the edge even more

Does anyone have experience with etching blued steel? Specifically a shotgun action. I see there is a blued steel specific electrolyte but I am hoping the stuff that came with the personalizer will work. Thanks
