29 parts

That's quite a few parts. I never really thought about how many parts it takes to make one of those.
I would need one of those lighted magnifying glass to be able to assemble something like that.
Very nice looking piece you got there Calvin. How are your eyes after putting one together?

Cool pic Calvin. And that does not count the 4-5 little screws that I usually loose before it's all together:biggrin:

Eric,
I wear an optivisor almost all the time when I'm building a knife and have good lighting at all my work stations, these two things are a MUST. And a good pair of tweezers comes in handy too.

Stan,
I don't think I lost any screws while making these two. I did drop a ball bearing and though I don't usually even bother looking for them I got down on my knees and found it right off.I dropped one of the sapphires, the last one,and I had no spares so I looked and looked and looked and couldn't find it until I widened my search and found it about 10 feet away! If you saw my shop floor you would agree with me that these are small miracles, thank The Lord.
I sit on a stool at my work bench to make these parts and I wear an apron and always fix it so it will catch anything that falls off the bench and that has saved a lot if parts from being lost.
