Can anyone tell me where is a good place to have stag amber dyed?
Are there some types of stag that work better than others for the dye?
What are the costs associayed with this process?

Thanks and God Bless
Mike

Mike everyone I know uses Culpepper & Co.

I dont know anybody else that does the amber dying. I send them a box every once in a while. They sure are slow getting it back but its worth the $25 per pound plus shipping both ways. Sambar Stag is the usual but I've used elk too with nice colors.

Be sure to dry it afterward. It seems wet when you get it and could shrink somewhat. I'm going to try our food dehydrater next time.
