Hi all,
Thought I would post this one that just came off the bench.
Please let me know what you think.
Forged blade of 1075, 416 SS fittings, handle is blister curl maple with a little silver wire.
Thanks for looking.

MACE !
Glad you made here. Another beauty as usual. I'm still extremely envious of that finish on your maple. I've experimented with a few things but nothing nearly that good. Got some Tru-Oil to try next, LOL

that finish caught my eye also..nice package..lot's of detail to find and admire...

Thanks for the nice comments fellas!

Denton, The way I get that great look is lots of beauty rest and attention to detail when man-scaping!2thumbs
Just kidding...

The handle finish is true oil. First application (a few coats) is thinned out so it seeps in good. Then sanded with 600 and then another 2-3 coats of the oil straight...applying and then wiping off. Let dry between coats.
Thanks again guys.

Mace,

I was pretty sure I remembered you telling me before that you used Tru-oil.

Do you buff when finished applying the coats of Tru-oil ?

Thanks, Josh
