camp /field knife in Damascus done.

Started off with a 4mm Firestorm Damascus billet, and this knife design.
Total length 250mm, and 35mm at the widest point.

After a while I managed to get this out of it.

Next step is to grind out the profile and get the necessary holes drilled.

After I have resolve some problems with my grinder (I have to replace the bearings for the platen head pulleys) her is an update from the knife.
I have ground the profile and I decide to go with a full flat grind this time, and the necessary holes are drilled.

The only thing I’m using is my grinder and this jig.

Ok a little update.
The knife is back from Heat treatment and so far i have clean the knife and shape the scales, now the knife it is ready for a bath in Ferric Chloride.
