Not much picture to go by, but I would agree with the Colonel. Probably a flea market special. Looks pretty chewed up by the origin mark.
 
"google" El Salvador Bayonet and click on images.
Try to match the overall bayonet with one of the hundreds of pictures.
 
The post topic is to help identify a machete that has blade inscription. Really not good to change the subject to your own knife. I enjoy machetes like the one shown much more than overpriced folders with fake names like your QUARTERMASTER.
Does not resemble a genuine reproduction of real Quartermaster. Here is link that shows an example:

I've checked this thread a couple of times, and have avoided responding, because the knife is obviously a cheap reproduction. If you look closely at the images, you can see where the chrome plating is torn/peeling. I suspect it's an "el-cheapo" knife, that was mass produced. In fact I'm fairly certain of that part. As for as it's origins, I would suspect it came out of a factory in China, and was modified with the logo(s) at some other point, and then sold as a novelty.
