Can visitors see or open thumbnail pictures?

I've noticed that the ratio of visitors to members is often two to one. I've done posts using what I assume are thumbnails of larger photos. Can visitors see or enlarge the thumbnails by clicking on them? If not, it seems like those, like me, who don't know how to use Photobucket, or the like, are not really communicating with the majority of the viewers.

I don't believe they can. I would just learn to use a hosting site. :) Personally I'm not a fan of thumbnails anyway - much prefer to see it full size from the off. Quite often I don't bother opening thumbmnails up larger so probably miss lots without realising.

to see pictures, you need to be registered which is the case on nearly every vbulletin site like this.
in our case, registration is free and immediate.

Can non-registered viewers see the full pictures? Stew I agree with you 100% the full pictures are far superior to the thumbnails. So I opened a Flickr acct. Let's see if I can post a full picture. If so, this is a knife I made several years ago, No.2.

OK that didn't work. Its the link to the website not simply the photo! When I try to use the insert image function, I copy the pictures address in my browser and paste that but get an error message. Well, looks like I'll be at this for a while.

Here's the address of the photo "http://www.flickr.com/photos/jstickles/8525016772/" and here is the short URL, "http://flic.kr/p/dZjWtN" when I paste either in the URL blank on the insert image window I get the error message, "error code---Invalid file". HELP!
