I think you know another maker that I know Steve Jernnigan not sure about the spelling. I used to work with him a few years ago. I showed him one of my first knives back before I knew what kind of work he does. He told me it looked like a good user. Little did I know that was probably the kindest thing he could say at the time! When I saw some of his work I realized that we weren't even talking apples to oranges.

I know Steve very well,I've known him for close to 30 years, he is one of my best friends. He helps me with my knife making almost on a daily basis, I hope one day to be half as good as he is. He is in the very top echelon of Knifemakers,I'd say there are 10 or fewer who can make liner locks and automatics as well as he can. I cherish his friendship and consider myself very fortunate as a knifemaker to have unlimited access to his knowledge and experience. He is also a Bible believing Christian and a good role modle for me in my Christian walk.
You are welcome at my shop any time, just check with me before coming because this time of year I spend a lot of time in the woods.
