D2 Stag Hunter

Ausbrooks

KNIFE MAKER
Turned this little hunter over to my neighbor Phil who does small subject photography professionally. I was pretty happy with the quality which is step above what I can do with my little digital to put mildly - may have to get a 'fancy' camera.
Specs: .187 D2, LN2 cryo, rope file work, ferric etch, 4.5" RC58. Amber stabilized stag, copper and fiber spacers. The 1084 and 15n20 hilt is first forging attempt and made the mokume. Sheath is pig lined 6-7oz. Thanks for lookin' and for comments.

Beautiful!!!!

Thats a great looking piece. I love the mokume, and the stag. Sweet combination. I cant say enough about this one, Super impressive all the way around!

Man , I love every single thing about this knife . I love the blade , I love the gaurd , I super love the stag , and then you hit it out of the park with the mokume butt plate .. The sheath came out beautiful too.. 5 stars across the board for me on this one .. Steamin Job my bro !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks guys- your comments are humbling as I admire your guys work so much.
Had a mirror polish on blade but wanted it to match the etched guard so etched it and it came out a bit streaky but like the overall look I think.

Paul,
I am a big fan of your work and this knife just made me president of your fan club. What a beautiful perfect piece.:clap::clap:
