Calvin, the grind is indeed asymmetric. It's something I've done a few times after seeing it on SR Johnson's knives, like this one

Not at all Calvin. It's not something we see very often which is partly why I used it.

Thanks Rick. This one does look like your type. Stag (amber maybe) would have been my choice as well but this gentleman wanted "white bone" so I did my best to fix him up. I'll do another one sometime soon with the Sambar.
