Eagle Knife

My son will receive his eagle scout award next week. He's the second one of my sons to earn this award and the next boy in line is well on his way. I made this knife for him to commemorate the occasion and to recognize all of the time and effort that he has put into Scouting and to becoming the great young man that he is. I guess you could say that I'm a very proud dad.

I'm very pleased with how this knife turned out. If you're interested in seeing how I built this knife, I documented the whole process on my blog at http://robinsonedge.blogspot.com if you would like to take a look. I'd love to hear what you think about this knife, so don't hesitate to leave a comment. Thanks for looking.

Brandant, thanks for posting up the link to your blog! I think that is a very cool knife and the blog very informative. Ya, I am "still" trying to produce a folder.

Thanks again!
Steve

Thanks, gentlemen for your comments.

Steve, be careful with folders. Once you make your first, I'm afraid that there's no going back!

Well, I finally gave this knife to my son at his Eagle Court of Honor. His smile was worth every minute that I put into making it. It was so fun watching him show it off to all his friends. I was one proud papa that night. What a great young man he has become and I look forward to seeing the kind of man he will be.
