Summer brings shop work to a dead crawl for me. I think I've been working on this one for 2 months, a little here and a little there but.......She's finally finished. Hope you all enjoy the pics

Blade; Hand rubbed satin finished, 9 inch clip point, 440C SS.

Handle; Ebony with nickel pins and escutcheon plate

Guard/Bolster; Nickel silver.

Sheath; 8/9 oz leather with nickel throat and tip.

OAL; 14 inches

That is a real beauty. It may have taken a long time to make but it was well worth it. I really like the old time look. Great job.

a real beauty,can't get any better than that !!!!!!! I love rich looking bowies and this is rich looking .

The knife looks great!

Can you show the back of the sheath? I want to see how you attach it to a belt.

The sheath as seen is worn between the belt and pants. The stud at the top of the sheath catches the top of the belt and stops the sheath from slipping out. Another method would be by the use of a leather frog which, the sheath would be set in and worn on the belt by belt loops in the frog.
