Exemplary work from James Wood

At Owen Bush's recent hammer-in in the UK, James quickly knocked this one out. He left it lying around and a few of us saw it and admired it. At some point one evening I negotiated a trade with him.

The forging is very impressive. the only part that a grinder has touched, is the edge.

He's 14 years old.

Swine.

He wants me to critique his work.

I can only see two flaws and it's pathetic to pick up either of them.

Bevels slightly uneven:

A tiny ding in the curl:

I can't wait to see how his work improves as he gets older!! :O
