First knife in 2013 W's bowie & Ironwood

I thought I would push myself a little harder this year. This is a w's pattern that I radial cut then stacked in a square. then of course accordian cut. overall length is 15", the blade length is 9". 1084 and 15n20 for the steels. The S guard was a couple of the accordian cuts welded together and flaten out. The spacer is from the next billet that will be a future knife in the making. The ironwood handle is of course some of my favorite. with a nice little 1/16" doomed pin.

i really love the results from the accordion cutting, gives a very clean undisturbed pattern
i hope i get to the stage one day where im not to tight not want to do it!


really nice overall design, i like the combination of crisp lines and curves.
