First one of the new year

This is the first one finished this year (frist one of many I hope)
10" blade 1095 and 15N20 with OAL 14 3/4"
stainless fittings and stabilized burl maple.
as always your comments or suggestion are welcome.

Nice bowie Mike. It looks like this will be a good year if this example is the front runner.

The only suggestion I have FWIW is the lower palm swell may not fit everybody but maybe this one is custom fit to the owner.

Lovely Bowie. Love that damascus and double guard/spacers.
 
Great looking knife. I really like the way you shaped and finished the handle. Bruce may be correct about the fit but it sure does look good. This is one of those knives you want to pick up and see how it feels in your hand.

you are right about the custom fit. the owner spent more time fiddling with the fit than it took me to do the shapeing.
