First real knife

I just recieved my first bunch of supplies to get started on my first real knife! I've been waiting for the mailman all week like a kid on Christmas eve, so I'm anxious to get started. Any tips from the pros out there before I dive in?

Josh Dabney has a great WIP on " So you wanna make a knife " I suggest you take a peak at that thread and it will take you from beginning to end.. Now how you get to the end with greater results will just have to be from practice . Good luck .
