Gar pike dagger!!!

HHH Knives

Super Moderator
Heres one I started about 6 months ago. The blade was ground and heat treated. Then it got set aside and I got extra busy with stuff and almost forgot about the blade. I found it when cleaning the bench and figured It was time to Try the new scales I got from Faron. These scales are Gar Pike skin thats fully stabilized. and laminated to black marcarta. They are amazing, and the texture on them feels great and allows for shaping and sanding..

OK so this one is approx 10 1/2" OAL with a 6" blade. The handle is as I said Gar Pike and African Black wood. Blade is Twist pattern HHH Damascus High Carbon mix!! Mosaic pins and a little filework.. :)

Thanks for looking.
Randy

Randy,
Superb Dagger! The grind, and the damascus are sweet! Never seen gar Skin before? Wild looking stuff!

Feron. This stuff is great man. I was not sure how hard it would be and or if it would change with age etc. But after having a few sets sitting in the shop for many months. there is no change. Then sanding then next to other materials can be a challenge but they are actually harder then the blackwood or the marcarta that they are laminated to.

OK... I say all that to say this. I like them and think its a good product that has a very unique look. So needless to say. I WANT MORE!! :D

Thanks Mike and Laurence. :)

It is nice for sure, but why's it come with all those little H's all over them? Just kidding! I really think you nailed that blade!
