Having fun with W's

This is what i came up on a W's billit from a few weeks ago. Started with 20 layers 15N20 and 1080. Stretched it out cut into 7 restacked and welded. The drew it out to 1" square. Cut the billit into 4 pcs. Stacked into a 2" square. Welded and drew out to 1 1/4" square the did the accordian fold. Results are a 7.5" blade ready to start hand finishing. This is my forth attempt at accordian fold.

Bruce / Murph, I haven't put that much thought on how to handle this one. I'm kinda leaning toward a nice piece of stag I have. But also I have a nice piece of flame Maple. That might go with the flames on the blade. I will have to ponder on this a while.
