Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. My name is Tony and have been in the Canadian Armed Forces for 17 years. I am juat getting in to knife making/design. I have one completed and a collaboration with Paul Moore on a design under my belt. Here is ine that I am working on right now:

The steel is 1/8 A2. My main focus is fighting knives, particularly ones for use with an edge in methodology.

Welcome to the pack here at KD's.
We have all kinds of makers here so if you have any questions chances are one of us can answer it for you.
 
Thanks. I have been spending the last few days just reading and there is a lot of knowledge to take in. I have three other knives that are ready to heat treat. I will post pics soon.
