Noob alert :D

I have been making knives for about 22 years. Started off with kits, then simple hand tools, a grinder and bandsaw, etc, etc, etc.
Now when I drag home another tool, I tell my wife of 30 years that it just followed me home.
As of this past May, I'm a full-time knifemaker. I do both stock removal as well as forge my own damascus and mosaic damascus.
I formerly owned a scrap metal business in downtown Atlanta that had been in the family since 1958.
After 35 years, my brother/partner and I got tired of getting shot at, and sold the business. I can honestly say, its one of my better decisions.
My wife teaches middle school math in Paulding Co. and is definitely the brains of this relationship.:D
Other than knifemaking, I like to brew beer, shoot/collect various guns,
RV camp.

Glad to be here.

Welcome to the pack. I understand not enjoying being used for target practice. it can be a bit frustrating. The sad thing is that after a while, you do become acustomed to it.
