I just found out about this site and look forword to spending some time here.
I have been a knife maker for 37 years selling my first knife in 1972. I make mostly fixed blade hunters, hatchets and small game cleavers.
I do my own heat treating and make my own sheaths
I was a member of the Knifemakers Guild for 27 years(Droped Out Last Year)
Former member and show chairman of BAKCA (Moved away)
I've been married for 45 years have one Son who is an Artist and one Grandson who is 9 years old.
My hobbies consist of shooting steel with handguns. I am currently the Calif. State Director of the International Handgun Metalic Silhouette Assoc. My favorite gun for hunting is a Encore Pistol in 300 Win Mag. My favorite Silhouette gun is a Savage Striker in 7mm BR or my Savage Striker 22LR
I have hunted Deer ,Elk and some Exotics in the USA and Have hunted in South Africa and Tanzania. My favorite kill was a Cape Buffolo with a 375 JDJ Contender Pistol.
I also have a few street rods that my son and I are building. One is a 31 Ford 3 window and the other is a 56 Buick Super
