Japanese piece

This is not what you would call a sword but it is Japanese, it showed up on my bench with a broken bone blade, so replaced it with a damascus blade and a new habaki and some new bone pieces and replaced the wood inside, have been into some time wasters lately. Deane

Nice work , Although The Ivory is not aged , Is this a new piece . Typically Japanese saya are not made from Ivory, not the better pieces . But, Chinese makers use it a lot .

I do have to admit it does look nice . Bubba
