This year at our HHH Hammer in, I was able to get little flipper from Phil Booth. First I gota say. Phil is a awesome dude! I really enjoyed visiting with him and look forward to seeing him again soon
He brought a few flippers and knives to play show and tell. one of them had a sweet Norris damascus blade. and really caught my eye. After talking to Phil about it we made one of them deals where everyone wins.
The first thing I did was remove the pocket clip and then ask Phil if he would change out the scales. He was gratiouse and agreed to do so. I in turn agreed to send him some pre ban ivory for my knife and a bunch for him to use on furure flippers as both scales, spacers and back straps.
