New forge help

I currently have an 8" pipe and a single venturi burner. I want to get into forging/Damascus type work. I am in process of making a single 2.5" forced air from a air tank. Would 2 venturi burners be better than one forced air ? I have all parts but the blower for forced air but venturi seems cheaper.
Thanks !

My opinion is no. I far prefer a single, properly sized forced air burner. The problem with separate venturi burners in the same forge is that unless each is connected to an independent fuel source, it's next to impossible to get the burners balanced out. Many folks who have multi-burner venturi forges would disagree with on this, but it is true.

Take a look at Wayne Coes site he built a Ribbon Burner looks pretty neat! He also has a video on YouTube.
