Hi all, newbie here i love working with wood, and looking forward to build some knifes, but for now i want to buy knife blanks and install the wood handles, i work with a lot of exotic woods now, and also i laminate exotic wood strips and then turn them on my lathe,So now i want to try some knifes, i am interested in Chefs knives, so if anyone has suggestions where to get the best knife blanks please let me know. thanks a bunch,:) Neil
 
Welcome to the knifedogs.
Order some supply catalogs from Jantz and texaskinfemakers supply and start looking.
There are several out there unless you want to go with a custom ordered blade from one of the makers
on the forums. Good luck and lets see some of your work.
