Newbie question - Pillow Block Bearings

Hello all,

I'm in the process of building my NWGS and found 2 pillow block bearings on Ebay. The problem is that I just had them out to lay out the mounting holes on the base piece and the bearings do not line up. Can you adjust these?

I hope I'm making this clear. I'm new to this type of equipment and do not know what I'm doing. :unsure:

Charlie if I understand you right you need the ID of the pillow block to move a little to get your shaft to be able to go through. Yes you can insert the shaft into the pillow block and move it to where you need it to be as long as it isnt a bunch.It will be tight . All the blocks I have ever bought I could move.
 
Thanks. I thought that must be the case but didn't want to force the issue if it wasn't.
