Where did you guys find the 1 3/4" square tubing???????

The good thing about tracys plans is that you can change to what you can find. i used 1 1/2"

after I built the proto using 1.75" square tube, I find that it isn't all that common. You can sub 1.5" or 2" tube and it will be fine.

I only use 3 size tubing on the Moe's Grinder: 4", 1 1/2" and 1 1/4" all in 11 gauge. Yeah, I know, 1 1/4 won't fit inside 1 1/2" 11 gauge. I mill a grove to match the internal weld of the 1 1/2" and get a good fit with some extra thickness for threading.

I used 2" with a 1/4" wall thickness. The 1 1/2" fits good and the 1/4" wall makes it a lot heavier but it dampens vibration. Plus it was free that always helps with a decision.
