Pillow Blocks

I just bought the ones USA Knifmaker sells. They have the grease fittings and seem to be very well made. When I priced them out USA was right in line with everyone else.

Don't put grease to them at all if you can help it. The reason is excess grease just has the roller bearings slide in place and not roll properly. This wears them out in no time. I learned this the hard way on my KMG. If I could find the ones with out grease zerks, I'd sell those instead. Only grease them if they go nearly dry and then very little.

Thank you for the advice Boss. I've been wondering how often I needed to pull PMCS on my grinder and grease the bearings.
