I have been making knives via the stock removal method since 2006. My pace is slow. I spend time on details, and I'm continuing to perfect my skills. I've spent my time making premium quality knives in hope of attending a show and possibly receiving some sort of award for something like "best new maker", etc. Yet, I've since sat on these completed knives and don't believe that I may qualify as a new maker anymore.
I use top end stainless steel bar stock such as ATS-34 and CPM S30-V.
