Just finished this one for a customer. I guess I'm a little biased, but I like it! Brazilian rosewood with brass and tapered tang. Haven't measured it, but they're usually about 7.5" with a 3.2" or so blade.
I think it is a good combo Travis, Just enough file work and I think the brass really complements that Rosewood. BTW that wood looks very familiar...... How did you like working that stuff?
Brent, I was hoping you'd see it. It's nice to work with, smells nice, and polishes well. Reminds me of blackwood in the way it works, which it should since they're related. And of course, it looks great too. I wouldn't have done filework on this one myself but it was requested by the customer, and I think it was a good idea.
