Thanks Jay for your kind words.
making my first was a roller coaster of sheer fright, but the joy of completing her was just the best buzz in the world.
due to her thick guage steel we did not need a nail nick groove something a lot of makers around the world wished i had done.
my nievity made me utilize sub standard pivot pin, but as my EDC she is still holding up well.
Thx again for your reply.

Brian,
I know what you mean about folders being a "roller coaster". I'm taking a break from making my third right now. I was just about to throw it, my drill press and whatever else I could get my hands on out into the front yard. Argh!

OHHHHHHHHHH!!! NOOOOO! i can really feel your pain just finishing a DPH a long time ago, being cocky using exotic wood, some really expensive Metals then Crack!!!!! my world fell apart...That piece of work got launched as far as i could throw it away from human eyes!!!!!
What did you feel you had achieved as far as the learning curve on your second? as i am very lucky with my first start -finish woth no problems.
You just know i am going to hit every problem on my next one don't you.
Any ways my friend time i actually made myself useful and got my kit ready for work in the morning.
You take care and good luck when you are back in the workshop.

Brian,

I posted a WIP in the WIP/Tutorial sub-forum here on the second slippie which I named Lemony Snicket, for the film's subtitle "a series of unfortunate events" to give you a preview of the build.
