Sharpfinger style knife

Here is a little knife I am making for my boss. He owned a Schrade Sharp Finger many years ago with a green handle and he said he loved that knife. He wanted me to make him one in that style so here it is in 1/8" A2 with dyed maple burl scales I got from Larry Shaughnessy. I still need to sharpen and clean up some gunk on it but its ready for a sheath.

Good work Frank! I've never owned one, but always liked that classic looking design and it looks handy. That handle material is also very nice looking. I've been slow to warm up to dyed and stabilized woods, but I'm appreciating them more recently.

Frank, that blade turned out great. Always liked that design. You did a nice job on that and the green looks awesome. Its hard even with pics to appreciate the dyed stuff, but once you try it most people really like it. Always thought "green wood" ,,,thats really weird, but its very popular...

Frank I hope you let us know what the boss thought....2thumbs

Larry, first of all thanks for the dyed maple as you can see it is beautiful. As for my boss he pulled it out of the sheath and said "DANG this is SWEEEET"! He than went and showed it to all my co-workers. He was pleased. Thanks guys!
