Thanks ausbrooks. To let you now got three on the bench with holes drilled for the tubes, there COMING! Just wanted them on the right design.

Franklin,
I really like the shape and style of the knife. But, the double angle on the front of the scales throws the flow out of balance to me. Too many different angles going different directions. Just trying to be helpful, you know you can't please all of the dog's all of the time. :p Wade

No offense taken wade, just trying to get a feel for what others might like on this design. That helps alot, wasnt sure about that myself just trying something new.
The other is i was thinking maybe a little more finger groove, what ya think ausbrooks lol, i now you love the grooves.

very positive, constructive opinion offered and accepted just as graciously.
Excellent job gentlemen.

Yes Franklin, "move finger groove" (cow bell?) may be good on this one...I can see it with one groove for index finger right behind guard might feel better in hand...but that's just me.:) and can't wait to see those tubes!

Thanks for the kind words boss, its what i think of ,when i think of the dogs helping each other the best we can.
Ausbrooks, what ya think deeper on front groove then maybe a pinky groove/swell? Ill come up with a drawing.

Yep, front and pinky grooves may really improve feel. I'll play the role of "cheif groove commenter" on this one....

Ok chief groove commenter lol and , wade heres some upgrades on this one, honestly give me the good the bad and ugly. What would you change, keep or git rid of all feed back welcome.

Obviously the center one, with the tubes, is superior lol ... they are all good designs but the bottom one has cleanest lines would feel best, I think, as that design would suit variable hand positions used with a fighter possibly and looks comfy overall as well.

3 has a nice flow and you can use tubes or pins. Being a hunter I would use pins because the tubes will fill up with blood and guts and be more of a chore to clean. Nice looking design. Wade

if you are asking for votes, I'd vote #3 with just 2 pins instead of 3.
just an opinion and i'm entitled to be as wrong here as I am at work all day long..

Well guys #3 looks likes shes pulling ahead, + 2 pins boss thinks, what about liners / handle slabs. After this is done im going to build like hgtv does that house what ya think?

I'd like to see a knife show like American Chopper, where a customer orders a fancy knife, and you barely get it done in time, and you have a bad relationship with your father or other authority figure (Tracy or ???) and you eventually start your own knife shop....sorry I seem to be full of it today.....:p

Tracy ha i can see that ( can you see me crying im laughing so hard i cant see) come on tracy i now you got something to say to that one.
Can you see someone throwing a knife like they threw muffler pipes ouch!!!

I'd watch a knife build off show in a heart beat...
I'm sure we could find plenty of colorful characters to add some drama but let's not name any names.
I'd be pretty boring to watch. I'm slow, I get distracted easily and don't even get that mad any more when I screw it up I do it so often.

I'm tellin' ya we could put a pretty funny and interesting show on the air...they do it with guns and motorcycles and cars....why not knives? After all, everybody likes knives...and the forging part would be so photogenic.
