Soldering Stainless Steel & Nickel Silver

What type of solder and flux do you guys recommend for soldering stainless steel and nickel silver? I would like to solder a threaded portion of stainless to a stainless butt cap to complete a hidden tang. Would the same solder be good for nickel silver? Does the low temp (430 degree melt) work well? Thank you in advance.

You need silver brazing rod for the but cap/threaded rod to be strong enough. If you are good at brazing you can you use it on the nickle silver but it is not that easy and the colors don't match well.

If I'm welding a nut to a stainless but cap I will tig weld it. When using brass or N/S I will solder a brass nut to them using high temp silver solder.
