NO Problem.
 
I don't think your wood came out too dark it is just more of the beetle staining on the handle so I think it comes of a bit darker. I have a few pieces that are darker like that also. -Burton

don't want to hijack your thread but we would love to stabilize your wood for ya! We're located in southern Indiana so turnaround would be less time. We have some pics in our gallery but i warn ya, we ain't no photographers thats for sure. If you happen to live close it would be great if you could stop by the shop and checkout our place.
If anyone is interested in us doing their material just drop us a line.
