That knife has been called the "Black Pearl" by its owner. It is an O1 core san mai construction, with a nickel foil layer separating the core from the damascus cladding. HRC 61
The ferrule is streaked buffalo horn, the spacer is made of black mother of pearl tiles, with a handle of stabilized maple burl. there is an ammonite stone set in a silver bezel in the but of the handle.
The saya is full grain leather overlayed with black sting ray hide.
