You can make your own. Anything you can print off of a computer can be made a stencil.

The equipment is easy to build, cheap and available at Home Depot.

The stencil material and developer you get online and the over head transparencies are available at office supply stores.

The transparencies can be a little pricy but one package will last you a lifetime.

I've used Ernie, and have always been happy with the stencils received. I've also used TUS, and was happy with theirs as well.

Recently, however, I've started to make my own using supplies from IMG, and while I still need to tweak my process just a little, the results seem very much on par with what I've received from Ernie and TUS, and now I have a little more freedom to make whatever I need, whenever I need it, and ultimately at a much lower price.

Is the IMG stuff the same materials sold here by Boss?

I've not had any from Boss, but it looks similar. I've always been curious, is this stuff something that is made in house by places like IMG? Or are then just buying large rolls of the stuff from some kind of industrial supplier and cutting them?

i wonder that, too. in the end, it's just a screenprinting stencil.

i think I'll give Boss' stuff a try.
